Summer heatwave in Scotland…indoors

Although we don’t experience regular hot summers in Scotland (even with the recent heatwave), many shops, offices and places of work still require cooling.

It’s not all about sunny weather though. Modern, highly insulated buildings, large windows and internal heat gains from equipment and people are some of the things that can create high temperatures in buildings making for an uncomfortable working environment, which can result in low productivity and increased sickness levels with staff.

Cool water and iced drinks are great short term treats but not a real long term solution. Installing an air conditioning system to provide cooling (and heating) is a solution you may have considered but didn’t know where to turn to?

Speak to B-DACS and let us suggest a solution for your uncomfortable working environment by installing or regularly maintaining your existing Air Conditioning equipment.
